We have the highest standards when it comes to hiring teachers, thus we are very selective when it comes to finding instructors that meet or exceed the standards at TFAA. What students love about us the most is that our instructors go out of their way to develop a plan that best matches each student's particular way of learning. They have done international tours and have participated in many workshops to help improve their teaching skills. Aside from their experience and education, our instructors are highly personable, can easily relate to individuals of all ages, and like to get to know each of their students and parents on a personal level. We've done all the homework to make it easy for you to find the perfect teacher for you.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO MASTER THE GUITAR?
Because each student has varying goals and desires of how good they want to be, it is hard to give a cut and dry answer. AT TFAA, our goal is to get students playing songs that they can recognize within a couple of months or sooner. We frequently find that a lot of our students want to continue learning for a very long time because they LOVE their lessons and want to constantly improve and conquer the guitar.
SO IF I CAN'T PLAY GUITAR, CAN I STILL HELP MY CHILD IN BETWEEN LESSONS?
You can! It doesn't matter whether you've never played an instrument before. Your teacher can show you the most effective way you can help your child practice. A lot of times, just simply being encouraging and making sure they are playing a certain amount of time each week will guarantee student progress. We have an open door policy, where parents are more than welcome to sit in on their child's lesson so they can understand the correct way to play a song or the right way to hold a string down on the guitar.
