IT’S A ONE STOP SHOP
Not only can you rent band instruments, you can also purchase accessories you need for the instrument. You can also purchase method books, as well as sheet music by virtually any composer or artist.
IT’S REASONABLE
We have band instruments that are approved for School Band use at rates that are reasonable and competitive with other music stores. You can use your rental payments as credit to purchase new and quality used instruments. Ask store associate for details.
Frequently asked questions
1. How much is it to rent an instrument?
It depends on the instrument. Violins, trumpets, flutes and clarinets typically start at about $25 a month. Other instruments like the cello that is worth $1800 can run up to as high as $60 per month.
2. Can rental fees be applied to the purchase of the instrument?
Yes, our contracts are a rent to own where the monthly payments can be applied as credit towards the purchase price of the instrument you are renting. We do offer a 30% discount if you decide to buy the instrument within the 1st two years of renting.
3. How much is the deposit?
There is no deposit. You just prepay the rental cost at the beginning of each month.
4. Do I need any personal information to rent an instrument?
All we need is a Driver's License #, and contact info (Ex. name, address, phone number). Although a credit card number is needed as collateral for the instrument; that number is encrpyted when entered into our system and we only have access to the last four digits from that point on.
5. Is this rental a new or used instrument? All of our instruments are in either new or like new condition. Some music stores have used rentals that have dents or don’t look in good shape. Virtually all of our instruments that we rent are in pristine condition. All instruments are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized with new mouthpieces.
6. Do you have recommended brands?
All of our instruments are MENC approved. Meaning they are all certified for school use.
7. If the instrument needs repair, or is stolen, is it covered in the rental policy?
For most of our band and orchestral instruments, we offer insurance where as long as damage or loss is not due to abuse or negligence, you are completely covered.
