Such an amazing and dynamic school! My son had a little previous experience with percussion but wanted to learn piano. He had some familiarity with reading music, so we didn’t know where to begin. We got matched with a wonderful teacher for our son. Ms. Valerie is really able to personalize the lessons according to his ability to keep his interest up and to keep him on track - his OWN track! His progress has been impressive. All the teacher here are so kind, encouraging, talented, and flexible. We can’t say enough great things about Mr. Bigel and this school. Highly recommend!!

We love this place! Our instructor is perfect and the space they give lessons in is clean and professional every time. Each student has their own separate room to practice in. I highly recommend.

I was very impressed by the follow up from my initial visit. Honestly, my son and I were initially discouraged as we were looking for an instructor for cello but due his age it was suggested to start with violin or piano. Your center was not the only place to suggest this but when you reached out to me directly via txt message to understand my dilemma better and indicated you would actually provide lessons in spite of his young age it made all the difference in the world. Within that same week an instructor was available to offer cello lessons that coincided with our schedule. Even after we registered you again reached out to insure we did not need an instrument. Your follow up and attention sealed the deal. Our son is 3 weeks in and he is learning.....slowly but still there is progress noted and he is so engaged and focus. It is probably the only time he sits still and focuses, his determination is steadfast. Thank you so much for helping him explore one of his interests that may blossom into something extraordinary for him!

I’ve been taking lessons for a few weeks now. My situation is a bit different then others: I work ridiculous hours every week for a corporation that generates an insane amount of stress. I wake up on weekdays dreading that I have to login and deal with all of it and go to bed realizing how much time my job consumes of my life (Depressing, I know but it pays very well, which is a plus). Fortunately, I come across one of my favorite days every week: Tuesday’s. Tuesdays at 7:30, I get to meet with Ryan who is the most positive and energetic individual. When I come to take lessons, I get to put my work and phone away and disconnect from the real world. It doesn’t matter how good or bad I play at lessons, there is something so soothing about strumming a guitar with someone who is incredibly encouraging. For that half hour, everything is right in the world. A moment of bliss. For the sake of my sanity, I don’t think I’ll ever stop coming here. Everyone needs something to look forward to. This glimmer of happiness in the week keeps me going.

Eva’s teacher, Autumn, is very pleasant to work with. She’s very patient and encouraging. She’s always smiling, and always makes the learning fun. She’s very understanding, and very kind. My girl enjoys her singing sessions with her a lot.

We love TFAA! I have two sons who take instrument lessons there, one of whom has been a piano student for 6 or 7 years, the other, my younger, 9 year old son just started learning guitar a few months ago. I think it’s very telling when you have this conversation with your child about Summer vacation: Child: Mom, so there is no school for the next two months? Mom: Yes, that’s right. Child (concerned): Well what about guitar lessons? Mom: Only regular school is closed in the Summer, you will still have your guitar lessons. Child (happily): Yesssssssss!!!! My son (who is mildly autistic and doesn’t always connect with people) says he really likes his instructor, Sam. Sam is very kind, patient and fun and even goes out of his way to communicate with us. (My guitar playing husband is at work during the time the kids have their lessons so Sam sends home notes for him.) My sister was visiting recently and was amazed when she saw my son reading music and heard him practicing. Whilst we were told that we could change to another instructor if the dynamic between teacher and student wasn’t a good fit, I feel like Bigel matched my son to the right teacher perfectly. My older son has been equally fortunate with having amazing teachers, he has now been with Cliff for about 3 years and this too has been a great fit. We are looking forward to this week-end’s recital performance at USF. Thank you Larry, Cliff and Sam!!!!

My son takes violin lessons here and loves it. Great, friendly staff and he really loves his instructor, David. My son is only five so a lot of patience is needed with him and he receives it. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for lessons.
— Jessica Ramakrishna
My singing instructor Emily is very passionate in her teaching. I’ve only had great experiences with Tampa Fine Arts Academy. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly—no intimidation. This feels like a safe place for a shy guy like me to learn singing.
— Neil Thomas
My teacher is a patient man that is willing to teach anyone who wants to learn. He teaches you new techniques and shows you music theory. Helping you improve. He also is a kind man and is very patient. He takes time out of his way to organize concerts for his students. He truly is a great teacher.
— Andrea Oros
TFAA is a great place to foster love for music and build the confidence. My children not only love the time they spend here but have shown confidence in other areas of their lives as a result of attending Tampa Fine Arts Academy.
— Vijayn Nair
Great teachers for all ages, very professional staff. All type of supplies for every music need, of they don’t have it they will order for you.
— Laverne McGlon
Tampa Fine Arts Academy is a wonderful place for kids and adults to learn to play musical instruments. All of the instructors are very professional, knowledgeable, and very dedicated to their craft. My kids’ instructors have made it fun and exciting for them to learn.
— Pamela O'Brien
Tampa Fine Arts Academy provided drum lessons for our son. The instructor was fantastic. He was very patient and enthusiastic with him.
— Michael Weinstein
My children have been taking music lessons for a couple of years now. They do violin and voice lessons. Both teachers I deal with are professional and courteous. They enjoy teaching my children and freely discuss their progress. They have been a great fit for us from the very beginning. Not only have my children learned a lot, but Larry Bigel is very willing to work with us on scheduling issues. I highly recommend Tampa Fine Arts Academy.
— Nichole Kollman
Awesome Place – Tampa Fine Arts Academy is a high quality place for musical instruction. Every instructor and employee show great attention and compassion to everyone the minute they walk through the door. Larry Bigel, the owner, is a fantastic guy who will always treat you like a great friend. The atmosphere is great for individuals of all ages. My personal experience has been nothing short of amazing. My bass guitar instructor is a very knowledgeable musician who encourages me to ask questions. Try finding that at another instructional studio. Believe me, it’s rare! Awesome. That’s the perfect word to sum up Tampa Fine Arts Academy. Thanks guys!

My 4 yr old takes piano lessons and her teacher is wonderful! She has such patience with a 4 yr old and has tailored her lessons to meet her learning style...never too much homework to get a parent stressed out but enough to keep my daughter motivated and interested. She explains concepts easy enough for her and me to understand (since I don’t play piano) and we can follow through at home. I have recommended Tampa Fine Arts Academy to many friends because of my experience with her teacher!
— Sonal Nunez
Tiffany LOVES her voice lessons AND her teacher! I like the ability to take lessons month to month and not be held to a lengthy contract. I would recommend anyone and everyone to Tampa Fine Arts Academy!
— Aimee S. Ross
Bummed I couldn’t watch my teen rock out but glad to get some clips of her doing her thing. She was asked to showcase some songs at an open house for another amazing Tampa Fine Arts Academy that opened a new location. She had no idea she would do some impromptu gigs with some other instructors and kids that also go there. Such a good experience for her and so glad to see her growing with something she’s really enjoying. I love seeing her own spin on some of the songs🎤If you have kids interested in learning instruments and/or vocals highly recommend this school.

We love you guys too and so grateful that she has these opportunities🥰 thanks for your kind, encouraging words. I just showed Allie that and she blushed. She has become a whole different person, and watching her build more confidence in growing into her talent/gifting has been amazing.🙌🏻❤️

Once again, Mr. Jeff has done it again! He has been really patient and knowledgeable in teaching my daughter guitar for awhile now. But sometimes, a little music therapy is needed to help cope with the craziness of the day. My daughter went in to the lesson frazzled and stressed and came out in a better mood and ready to deal with the insane amount of homework/school drama. Sometimes you got to change it up a bit in order to connect with your students. Kudos to Mr. Jeff for being understanding of my daughter’s needs and tailoring the lesson for her! He is teaching her more than just guitar and music. We appreciate!
Thank you!!
